If you’re facing the same problem on your BSNL network number then you can use DND (Do Not Disturb) service to avoid all the spam & promotional call and SMS.
This service will block all spam calls & SMS but continue receiving the important services SMS like OTP, banking transactions, etc. Also, you can customize your alert preferences so that you will not receive SMS & calls from particular categories which are given below.

How to Activate or Deactivate BSNL DND Service
To block all spam calls and promotional messages on your BSNL number, type in the message “START 0″ and send it to 1909 from your BSNL number. If you want to block promotional messages and call for a specific category then send message “START <Option>” and send it to 1909 to register your preference for receiving particular categories. Or you could register via our dedicated IVR at 1909, from your BSNL mobile or landline phone.

After activating this service, all promotional calls and messages will stop on your BSNL mobile number within 7 days of registration. You will receive a Unique reference number through SMS for your records, or you can follow the link to activate the Bsnl DND service from the website.
